Job Summary

Warren Farms is seeking a dedicated Farm Mechanic & Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be deeply involved in the daily operations of the farm, providing crucial support in machinery operation and maintenance, and ensuring efficient farm practices using advanced agricultural technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a range of farm machinery and equipment, including tractors, combines, drills, trucks and sprayers.

• Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of farm equipment.

• Ability to maintain and repair a wide variety of light and heavy equipment.

• Efficiently use power tools and hand tools for various farm-related tasks.

• Employ precision agriculture technologies such as GPS for steering and product application.

• Assist in other farm operations as needed, demonstrating flexibility, a strong work ethic and the ability to multitask. 

Qualifications

• Proven experience in operating and maintaining farm machinery.

• Skilled in using power tools and hand tools for various agricultural tasks.

• At least 1 year of mechanic experience with agricultural equipment.

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of farm equipment, including air drills/carts, sprayers, combines, tractors, and trucks.

• Capability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and possess the physical stamina required for manual labor.

• Strong work ethic, team-oriented attitude, and a willingness to learn and adapt.
